Double bill this week since I skipped last week.
Naruto 518:
Man, Deidara and company once again loses that easily. Are the enemies really just that weak?
Omoi uses his sword to cut the threads that control their allies as Kankuro attaches his threads to Sasori’s in order to drag him out into the field. Without much going for them, Deidara and Sasori decide to use Sai’s brother as a human bomb.
The thing is, Sai’s brother is under the Impure Resurrection technique, so after exploding, he reassembles. Reusable bombs are nice.
But Sai, upon seeing his brother blow up, reaches a limit break of sorts, and draws to big-ass paintings which knock both Deidara and Sasori back. Kankuro has two of his Kuroari prison puppet secure them, and Omoi sends lightning techniques to disable any bombs Deidara might have.
See, captured to quickly -_- Things shouldn’t be this easy…
Naruto 519:
Argh… Kankuro gives Sasori some speech about the value of his art, and Sasori embraces it leading to his demise. What is up with villains turning coat when people lecture them?
Anyway, Kankuro’s team decides to continue with their ambush, and Kabuto has completely captured Anko now. Meanwhile, Naruto continues to train with Bee as the Eight-tails explain to him the dangers of activating the tailed beast mode. He also explains to Naruto the signature tailed beast attack, which involves firing a sphere of chakra.
He advises Naruto to just focus on his own techniques, to Naruto tries to practice doing a rasengan in the tailed-beast mode. To Bee’s surprise, and he quickly remarks about it, the rasengan is much like the spheres shot by the tailed beasts, and it is more than likely that rasengan was based upon that.
Relevance? The Fourth’s awesomeness, I guess. That’s already covered even before…
Bleach 428:
So this Kuugo guy flatly tells Ichigo that he doesn’t know much about his family, and seeing the tension building up, Ichigo’s boss intervenes and sends the guy off. Before he leaves though, he remarks to Ichigo that he should visit Urahara’s place, because he’ll see something interesting.
And true enough, Karin comes out of the shop carrying a bag of Urahara’s products. Ichigo sees this, and Kuugo appears before him warning him to be wary of Urahara if he wants to protect his family.
As a side note, Kuugo has two allies, for now.
Bleach 429:
Kuugo gives Ichigo some card that says “Welcome to our Xcution,” and that’s pretty much what the two go on about after seeing Karin. Ichigo proceeds to go home, where Orihime later on visits him to check on the weird vibe they are getting from Ichigo.
Meanwhile, Ishida decides to look around town checking for abnormalities when he sees someone quickly walking from one roof to another. He gives chase, and after a while, the guy he is chasing disappears and reappears beside him. Later on, Ishida is seen lying on the floor in blood without his right arm.
Yeah, the guy has a penchant for losing an arm.
One Piece 605:
With Luffy hell bent on capturing the Kraken, Coribou offers them some advise on how to fight it without endangering the ship. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji each don a bubble of their own, and the three get off the ship to fight the Kraken.
While the rest try to protect the ship, Luffy quickly uses Gear 3 plus colored Haki to prepare a giant arm to strike the Kraken. However, the sea is draining him of some of his powers, and so Sanji and Zoro act to buy him some time. Sanji quickly runs in the water, leaving even his bubble because of the speed, and kicks the tentacle aiming for Luffy. He’s had a lot of practice running mind you. Zoro on the other hand, cuts one of the tentacles as well.
Anyway, Luffy manage to launch his strike, and the Kraken is sent flying off. However, a shark with a shirt comes out of the Kraken, and suddenly the entire company is sent down to the downstream, separating the ship from the three who fought the Kraken.
One Piece 606:
Now that the three are lost underwater, Caribou escapes his binds and plots to overtake the pirates. But Franky quickly captures him, so there’s nothing much there.
Anyway, the sea is full of mysterious creatures, and soon enough the ships gets into trouble when a ghost pirate ship and a humanoid sea monster attacks them. But at the last minute, the Kraken shows up and smacks the humanoid sea monster away. Luffy’s trio arrives.
Pretty much it, actually.
Claymore 110:
Somehow, the chapter confused me ^_^
We get a flashback of when Raki and Priscilla split. Basically Priscilla found a trace of the scent she was looking for, and decided to ditch Raki to look for it. She tried to kill him though, but somehow something stopped her. An arm actually.
At present time, the organization discusses the state of affairs, and someone is giving a report about Raki. If you remembered, Raki was taken in by the organization when it found him struggling as spikes impaled him. The one giving the report noted how an unknown arm protruded from Raki’s back and kept the spikes at bay, and enabled Raki to stay human.
Meanwhile, the remaining of Miria’s team set off, as a team of claymores heading for the organization is attacked by multiple awakened beings…
