Events Archive: TAGCOM 2010

Here’s the first set of pictures. And then, here’s the second set of pictures. How about some videos?

TAGCOM 2010 did not disappoint, that’ll be the gist of it. Sure, I had some apprehensions on the first day seeing the relatively modest turn-out. But day 2 definitely brought it.

I’ll be honest though, the place was not exactly ideal. It’s small and cramped. But hey, there’s no entrance fee so there’s gotta be some drawbacks, right? But man, there’s not enough room in front of the stage >_< Good thing I had friends in important positions (more on that later ^_^).

However, the variety of merchandises are quite good. The number of stalls is at par with the number some of the bigger conventions had. Well, at least from my estimate. But since the place was small, it’s kinda hard to move around there…

The turn-out of cosplayers was good. There were a lot of them there, ranging from, “Huh?” to “Meh…” to “WIN!” In general, I’m sufficiently pleased XD

As for my friends in important places, no, I don’t know any of the exhibitors or organizers. It just so happened that bossmac and his friends were already positioned in front of the stage before the catwalks, so I was able to squeeze my way through and get a spot in front of the stage ^_^ Thus, the pictures I got were close to the stage, and we all have bossmac to thank for that.

And man… bossmac and his friends should be professional hecklers ^_^ They’re that damn good at it LOL

Some random notes:

- This convention receives Pedobear’s sign of approval…

Mio ^_^

- Traxex is pure WIN…

Single-handedly making the body paint business afloat...

- Speaking of DoTA, the best heckle of the day came when Na’ix, Mortred and Knight Davion were making their way through the crowd. Then, a group of guys started shouting, “Push! Push! Push!” as the three were pushing their way through. Man, that was priceless. Absolutely priceless.

- This is funny because he’s gay… Well, at least he looks gay…

For all the Sai is gay jokes, we get this cosplay. Just love how the world works.

- I love it when new shows (currently airing in Japan) get some love from cosplayers.

No breast-sucking though...

- Watching RC cars drift was insane ^_^

- Too bad no Hazy, or so the people behind me said (bossmac and his friends). LOL
