Once again, no pictures, since the camera is still in the service center. And no photographer friends with me as well. I prowled the grounds alone.
Pretty much as expected, I heard that there wasn’t much going on the first two days. And true to my estimates, people came in during the third day. Well, that was when the individual cosplay competition is held anyway. Some quick notes:
- Guess who I saw in TAGCOM day 3? *That* Yu-Gi-Oh cosplayer was there again! And he brought along Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl with him. I want him to bring a Blue Eyes White Dragon next time.
- DR Industries (Don Robert Torio and Izabel Cortez) was spotted there, in some Star Wars get up. Not much of a fan, so I wasn’t too sure of the characters. I reckon they were Siths. Anyway, they used a lot of body paint.
- Some old manga volumes were being sold at 100 pesos each. They were selling good stuff like GTO, Initial D, Battle Royale and Beck. They manage to drain whatever was left from my war funds after yesterdays splurge. Wallet is bleeding dry right now ~_~
- Tokusatsu cosplay is simply owning the cosplay floor. Anime character cosplays should turn it up a notch.
- As far as I could tell, the cosplayer whom men flocked towards was the Meer Campbell cosplayer. At least I think she went as her.
- Props to the one who went as Excalibur from Soul Eater. That was one big-ass snout.
- I saw two giant heads for Reborn and Labo. Too bad I didn’t get to see them worn.
- Some of the stage programs were really weird. Female pirate fashion? WTH?!
- Didn’t see a lot of the big-name “cosplayers.” At least while I was still there.
So yeah, just another convention in the life of a con-goer. I wonder when something new and innovative will happen…

Someone scattered the ranger keys and turned everyone into sentai
