And so now we have the continuation of Amagami SS. If you recall, each girl got four episodes exploring their story arc. Amagami SS Plus is then a continuation of each of those arcs, each now getting two more episodes. First up is Ayatsuki Tsukasa, the one who arguably got the best arc in the previous season.  Too fast! Ok, I’m cheating a bit on my attempt at at least one post per day since I don’t really have time to watch an episode today. So here’s the official poster for Otaku Expo 2012.  I will make a wild guess and say that this is the year's first event. Just check out their website if you want to know more. Hell yeah! Nisemonogatari! Koyomi and the gang are back, and the usual long and fast narration is back!  He's back! So this is a tale of siblings. No, it’s not incest. Just plain old siblings.  Atsumi and Atsushi So I’m skipping Natsume Yuujinchou Shi, Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama and Zero no Tsukaima F because there’s no point watching a sequel without watching the first. High School DxD and Amagami SS Plus are put on hold as the copy of the former I have downloaded had horrible encode, and the latter has yet to see an SD release. So for now, we got straight to Kill Me Baby.  Loli high school girls. A new genre of anime has just been created. It’s called mahou mecha shoujo anime. Something like that.  Someone's dead. So irony has it that after posting about my take that we have too many conventions, my next post would be an update on the next convention that we’ll be having. I’m just saying. So Otakuzine has recently posted in the Facebook page that they will be having Otaku Expo 2012 on January 21-22, 2012, at the not-so-surprising venue of SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 1. Tickets will be sold at the usual price of 100 pesos. Scheduled activities are, again, the usual bunch of individual and group cosplay competitions, battle of the bands, karaoke contest, and art contest. They’ll also be having their staple maid cafe and host club, and toy display. Too only thing new I see, and therefore have no idea about is this thing they call Gundam Caravan. Really, nfi… So I’m one to believe that there are a number of things we could, and should correct in the local otaku scene. In the interest of self-improvement, we do want to improve after all, let’s discuss some of these things one at a time. In today’s issue, we’ll tackle: We Just Have Too Many Local Conventions.
