Rev. Steven P. Best
Rev. Stephen P. Best Appointed Interim President of Trinity College of Florida June 12, 2023 (Trinity, FL) – The Trinity College of Florida Board of Trustees announces the appointment of Rev. Stephen P. Best as interim President with the full responsibilities and authority of the Office of the President, effective June 5, 2023
Steve is a graduate of Grand Rapids Baptist College (Cornerstone University) and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (Liberty University). He has served in church planting and pastoral leadership, global missions leadership, and various education roles including as an adjunct professor of Trinity College of Florida. He is married to Terri Jo Best, and they have 4 adult children and 13 grandchildren.

President Emeritus
Dr. Mark O’Farrell
In May 2005, Dr. Mark T. O’Farrell was elected the eighth President of Trinity College of Florida. Dr. O’Farrell has served in several pastorates in Georgia and Florida, before becoming the Assistant to the District Superintendent/Church Planting Director for the Southeastern District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA). He was later elected, and subsequently re-elected as District Superintendent of the Southeastern District, serving for 12 years and is a recipient of the Antioch Award (2005) for his efforts in starting churches. Dr. O’Farrell has served as a trustee on several higher education boards, denominational boards, adult retirement communities, and auxiliary ministries. Dr. O’Farrell earned a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia International University, Columbia, South Carolina and received a Doctor of Divinity from Toccoa Falls College, Toccoa Falls, Georgia. Dr. O’Farrell and his wife, Billie, have four children and six grandchildren. Dr. Mark O’Farrell, who served the college with excellent leadership for 18 years, informed the Board of Trustees at its October 2022 meeting, of his intention to retire along with his wife Billie, who has served the college for 35 years. The Board of Trustees immediately began the search process for Trinity’s 9th President.
